Let me present a different perspective here. Instead of posing detailed stats or paragraphs of virtues I would give you an insight into his goals with a small example.
Context: Few weeks back, the Bihar polls were nearing their end and the opinion polls released data that thoroughly confused both the camps. Now one should remember here that structurally revamping the Indian economy was one of the major poll promise of Modi and he had been working hard on it before the elections by various small and large reforms. Trying to push the GST through was one of them. If you want to know how important GST is for India then read this: Balaji Viswanathan's answer to How is GST beneficial for the country? How would it help to improve the country's economy?
But Bihar was one large election. A lot was stake including the party's reputation and future election strategies were going to change depending on the result. Also with the current numbers in RS, GST push was a complete failure and the numbers weren't going to improve if BJP lost.
What's different?: I was really afraid as to what would happen to the economic makeover of India if the NDA failed in Bihar. But then on 2nd November I saw this: Government to launch a series of policy reforms after Bihar polling ends. For most of the people this might be an ordinary news, but for me it was like Dhoni given NOT OUT by the 3rd umpire after a close call!
The fact that my government didn't let its work and strategy affected by the outcome of an election just multiplied my trust in Modi!
