Wix is a terrible website builder, it has a ton of code bloat , google hates it in terms of search engine ranking and wix is VERY vunrable to hackers. If you are going to put any money into something free i would go with wordpress.com is not as great as wordpress.org and maybe a bit more a learning curve than wix. But in terms of functionality and support it destroys a wix website any day.
