Which form of url should be used?

Hi

A website may or may not have a 301 redirect. In such case, which url should be used for building links?

Either with www or without www for a non 301 redirect site.

and

Either with www or without www for a 301 redirect to www.domain.com site.

and

Either with www or without www for a 301 redirect to domain.com site.


And, another query regarding the same..

For https site can i use https extension for hyper linking my anchor text?

Some time in SERP results keywords are ranked for without www form of urls(domain.com), in this case which form of url should be used with/without www?

How does these changes affects the ranking of a site, if any?

I think you should use the following URL structure www.domain.com site but there is no specific advantage of with/without www . whatever you are using but concentrate on one URL structure that will beneficial to you.
