So what do you think is the best country to emigrate as a freelancer? I'm thinking to move to Portugal since it has a low cost of life and has beaches and hot weather. Where would you move? At the moment I'm in Italy, but I really don't like it here. Missing all food chains and public transport (I don't drive) as I had in UK or Australia (where I lived for a long time) and cost of life is really not cheap (especially rent is quite expensive so it is impossible to live on your own in good areas), unlike Greece or Portugal or other mediterranean countries.
