Where to look for a cheap apartment in Budapest?

I am looking for a cheap apartment in Budapest, but I don't know which area would be the best choice. Are there any areas where you can still find good apartments at a reasonable price? Is it worth looking in the outer districts of the city or should I look in the inner districts?

Cheaper apartments are mostly found in the outer districts of Budapest. Furthermore, Lodging in Budapest has many options that can be up to 20-30% cheaper than the prices in the city centre. Pestszentlőrinc and Kőbánya, for example, are districts worth looking at. These areas are still easily accessible from a transport point of view, but prices are much more friendly than in the city centre.
