What's the difference between PageRank and Toolbar PageRank?

PageRank, assuming you are talking about Google PageRank, is determined by Google based on a number of factors which is a closely guarded secret. The pursuit and worship of PageRank has spawned an entire industry in cyber space. I suppose Larry Page should be pleased. That's very close to worshipping him since it's his name that gave birth to PageRank.
Toolbar PageRank, assuming you are talking about Alexa Toolbar PageRank, calculates your site's ranking relative to all the other sites which have installed the Alexa Toolbar. So this Alexa ranking is rather incomplete since not every site has the Alexa Toolbar. Being incomplete naturally makes it also inaccurate.

There is no difference between them. Basically Google toolbar is a facility provide by Google search engine which have the following options available for webmaster to have check out the website page rank, similar pages and back ward links.
