As we take a look on these both CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator than both are use for the same purpose. Both are provides a same features and use mostly vector graphics.
Major difference between them of tools illustrator has font integration ,new interactive tables,independent page layers and in coral draw there are multiple art boards, and transparency in gradients are found.
CorelDraw is best used for things where the final product is manufactured. Like signs, products and packaging etc. Illustrator on the other hand is a RAW graphic design programme where the end product is for web use.
