Google Plus, following my ideas, are not as good as when it starts its business off. However, if you can find some of good Google+ pages or groups, you can earn more traffic and visits. By the way, Google plus can help your links fast indexed and have many backlinks!

Well, I've been using Google+ for marketing purposes.
I created my own page (community), but it is not like Facebook.
It is hard to generate followers from Google+ than Facebook, maybe because Facebook have a bigger audience than Google+. Though, since you can use it for free then might as well give it a try and see it for yourself.
