What is the formula for knowing keyword density?

Keyword Density Formula: To calculate keyword density for SEO purpose is

(Nkr/Tkr)* 100

Here Nkr is a number of keywords, Tkr is total number of words and as a result you will get result in percent.

Density = Your keyword density
Nkr = how many times you repeated a specific keyword
Tkn = total words in analyzed text
So, if your article or piece of content is 600 words in length and you have used your keyword 12 times, the keyword density for that keyword is…

Keyword density = (Nkr / Tkn) x 100
= (12/ 600) x 100
= 0.02 x 100
=2

Keyword density = 2% !!!
