What is the Ethical SEO ?

According to Google, pretty much every type of SEO is "unethical", which is ridiculous. I wouldn't worry too much about it anyway. A lot of what Matt Cutts says is rubbish. The methods he claims don't work anymore still do. I would just focus on doing what works and if Google wipe out your site or a particular method you're using with an update then just start again or adapt.

Ethical SEO is often referred to as white hat and is generally used to describe the use of accepted search engine optimization techniques or code of conduct. Ethical SEO techniques are generally considered as those that can are clearly visible or obvious to a website visitor. Any hidden tricks are usually indicative of a hidden agenda.

Ethical SEO can be defined as search engine marketing using only techniques and strategies that search engines consider to be acceptable.

Ethical SEO utilises methods which optimise web sites for visitors rather than for search engines. Ethical SEO methods involve a design and development that is search engine friendly while still following guidelines that have been established by major search engines like Google. Working within these guidelines provides optimal results without undue risk. The use of relevant of content is also an important part of ethical SEO methods. It is often said thatcontent is king when it comes to succeeding on the Internet. This is certainly true due to the fact that visitors typically visit a site in order to access needed information.
