I really depends on your niche. Social media management depends on a few things like a good graphic design company in east london or a freelancer even. Secondly to know your audience and thirdly ab testing. There are many set marketing techniques out there but consumers are so different that in some cases marketing techniques work where they shouldn't. For example videos are often pushed as a great design idea for content marketing but in my specific area we promote a restaurant and litrally two things get massive engagement post graphic designs of food images and special. Custom graphic design of people in the restaurant.

My point here is that A/b testing is your biggest friend test videos, test questions ,test competitions and see what works.
