- I'm afraid it's an oxymoron. "Boilerplate" and "SEO" don't go together very well, particularly now, when content strategy is at least 75% of the battle.I guess if someone forced me to come up with a 'standard' SEO strategy, I'd go with:
Technical
Remove duplicate content
Fix 100% of 404 errors
Get page load times to 2s or less
Make sure CMS supports title tagging, image ALTs, custom description tags
Content
Hire a good writer. A good writer, not someone selling articles on Fiverr.
Put real, actual thought into your content strategy. What will attract the attention of both customers and people who reach your customers?
Stick with it. Two months doesn't count. Two years might.
Outreach
Build relationships with other bloggers.
Grow your social media presence.Become a real contributor to your industry and community. You see the problem. The further you get from technical, the more it sounds like the same BS you hear at conferences, like 'Write great content!'Which is true, but it's not a strategy. Your strategy has to be specific to your industry and business.
