What is PPC and SEO marketing?

PPC stands for "pay per click". Pay per Click is an advertising model where businesses pay an agreed upon amount, each time their advertisement is "clicked", and not each time their ad is displayed. When you setup a PPC campaign you can control the traffic. While a new website takes time to rank well in search engines, with PPC you can turn the traffic on and off. With PPC you can create almost instant traffic.

PPC stands for pay-per-click, a model of internet marketing in which advertisers pay a fee each time one of their ads is clicked. Essentially, it's a way of buying visits to your site, rather than attempting to “earn” those visits organically. Search engine advertising is one of the most popular forms of PPC.

SEO or search engine optimization is the process of optimizing your website in search engines. The process helps to build your online identity and reputation to benefit your online business.

The main difference between PPC and SEO
In SEO the traffic which is generated is in organic form which is free traffic.
In PPC (Pay Per Click) as we know the term it self say that we have to pay for per click, so the traffic is not in the free form.
we are paying to generate that traffic.

See SEO and PPC are two different ways of promoting a website . in seo as we know we list our website in various search engines and we look after the site ranking in the search engine, by maintaining our site by looks , info, content, performance etc. and other things like submitting links of our site to other related sites. but in PPC which is called pay per click we pay for the as many as clicks, our site viewers click the site, and we pay for the ads we made in other sites, this is also a way of promoting the site, other ways are blogging , writing article about our site, joining forums, etc.
