What is LSI?

LSI keywords are essentially keywords related to the keywords that you are searching for, and Google does this by using a system known as LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). In a nutshell, it is based on user search patterns and behavior, how one keyword search is usually linked to another keyword search.

Enforcing your targeted keywords with it’s related keywords (semantically related) you increase your changes on ranking higher.

These keywords can also be found at the bottom of Google’s SERP when you do the search

Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) is a part of the Google algorithm. LSI keywords (also known as semantic keywords) are the related keywords to the main keyword. Many of the search engines like Google use it to decide the link between different entities of the web content.

Latent Semantic Indexing or LSI keywords are synonymous of the keywords that you use to avoid keyword stuffing. Keyword stuffing is good not for SEO but you can use synonymous keywords.

Latent semantic indexing keywords, or LSI keywords is really just a dressed up name for synonyms or related keywords. LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing but let’s not get complicated about this. In simple terms it is just how Google decides what your page is about. We all know about main keywords and anchor text links but these little guys are really important. Think about it, they are how Google decides what your page is about.
