Inbound links generally known as back links are the links pointing to your site and search engines like it when you have thousands of links pointing to your site but sometimes Google penalizes you for it too if you have poor quality and unrelated back links pointing to your site.

An inbound link (also referred to as a back link) is a hyperlink on a third-party web page that points to a web page on your site.

Inbound links are those that point to your domain from external webpages. These links are helpful to redirect traffic to your website from external sources and help to rank your keywords higher in search results.

Inbound links are important for search engine optimization (SEO) because Google and other search engines see multiple, relevant inbound links to a page as a sign that the content on that page is useful.

Inbound links are probably one of the most important parts of successful search engine optimization. Inbound links are the number one factor in Google's determination of your Page Rank, which has a huge influence on your position in their search engine results.
