These days there is a lot of news about the Heartbleed and webhosting companies are sending notices to their clients. Can any body tell what Heartbleed is and what types of websites or webhosts are being affected by this hearbleed.

The Heartbleed Bug allows hackers to exploit a flaw in the OpenSSL encryption software used by a majority of major websites to steal data like credit card numbers, passwords, and other personal information.
