What is FFA in SEO

FFA - "Free for all" refers to websites that allow anyone to submit their link to a website that has many pages of such links. This is considered spam by Google and will get your website ranked for nothing and possibly have your site removed from Google's index.

You have to be really careful with these, as well as companies trying to sell you SEO services which will inadvertently do this as well. This is why I would never use some rinky dink small SEO company to do work on my behalf. A business I work for got into a lot of problems with an SEO company we were using to create backlinks. They were putting our ads on sites that also had ads for child porn and bestiality on them. Worse yet, whatever method they were using to submit us, they could not get us off these sites for some reason. It was a mess.

FFA or Free For All Pages are not good to link with your website.
These pages contain only advertisement and Google consider them as Spam.

I do remember using FFA directories and link sites to promote my own website. Usually a reciprocal link had to be added to your own website, so I set up a links page on mine. Also I always had to provide an email address, which often resulted in receiving spam.

FFA - Free for All is the list of website where you get instant links when you submit the website. This is the old techniques to generate the backlinks, but today this type of links are not acceptable by search engine. If you submit website in these website, may you get banned by search engine.
