What do you mean by Page Rank or PR?

PageRank (PR) is a computation, popularly created by Google creators Lewis Web page and Sergey Brin, which analyse the classifieds of hyperlinks to a web site to determine a comparative ranking of that page's significance and power on a 0 to 10 scale
 
Page rank is the measure of popularity of your webpage in search engines. It is measured by Google and your webpage is provided a numerical value between 0 to 10 depending on popularity. But it is of no value today as Google has stopped updating their page rank algorithm.
 
PageRank is an algorithm used by Google Search to rank websites in their search engine results.PageRank was named after Larry Page, one of the founders of Google. PageRank works by counting the number and quality of links to a page to determine a rough estimate of how important the website which evaluates the quality and quantity of links to a webpage to determine a relative score of that page's importance and authority on a 0 to 10 scale.
