Logo colors: what's best for your brand?

How do you choose, any experience here for tips ??

In my experience we use light colors to design a logo. For designing a logo clients also suggest some color preferences so based on that we have to design a logo.

Well as you know all colours represent something wthin branding , i dont have a fovroute colour for logos or websites but i like colour schemes ,,

Navy blue , blue and white ( corporate branding )
Orange and non rich balck ( innovative enthusiastic brand )
LIme green and non rich black ( Modern, out of the box , youthful branding )
