I don't actually have a favorite amongst the tools I've been using for a long time now. Everything works perfectly equal for me.
Ahrefs, SEOQuake, Firebug, Firefox addons(too many to mention haha), Google tools

I think Ahrefs provide limited backlink resource. (mean it shows limited competitor backlink)

Almost SEO tools are paid, I am using only Woorank, Google Analytics, and Google Webmaster tools.
