What are LSI keywords?

LSI keywords or Latent Semantic Indexing are semantically associated with the main keyword that users enter over the search engines.
 
Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) is a mathematical method used to determine the relationship between terms and concepts in content. The contents of a webpage are crawled by a search engine and the most common words and phrases are collated and identified as the keywords for the page.

LSI looks for synonyms related to the title of your page. For example, if the title of your page was “Classic Cars”, the search engine would expect to find words relating to that subject in the content of the page as well, i.e. “collectors”, “automobile”, “Bentley”, “Austin” and “car auctions”.
 
LSI keywords (Latent Semantic Indexing) are fundamentally keywords that are semantically identified with your essential keywords. In spite of prevalent thinking, they are NOT simply equivalent word or watchwords that are comparable in significance.

I really thought I know all about LSI. They're not at all just synonymous keywords. Like when you talk about rags, you also include carpet, tiles, or whatever. It's like when you talk about computers, you also include related information like software, computer programs, series, and all that stuff, coz people might not be looking for computers but wanting to read about software or new computer series, or the like.
 
LSI keywords are essentially keywords related to the keywords that you are searching for, and Google does this by using a system known as LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). In a nutshell, it is based on user search patterns and behavior, how one keyword search is usually linked to another keyword search.

Enforcing your targeted keywords with it’s related keywords (semantically related) you increase your changes on ranking higher.
 
LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) is the a portion of Google's calculation that will crease words into a grid for investigations, with the end goal of recognizing semantically related terms.
