What’s the difference between internal and inbound links?

Internal Links are the ones that carry the user from one web page on a website to another web page on the same website. Internal links explain the hierarchy of your website to the search engine.
Inbound links on the other hand are the ones that direct the users from other websites to your websites. These links are back links generated by posting or commenting, etc on other sites that provide do-follow links. Such links boost your off-SEO.
