Sitemap for forum is good?

Hi Guys,

I have created a forum now I was thinking to create sitemap and submit to Google so that Google come to know about my pages but I have heard it is not good to create sitemap for forum as they have dynamic contents.

Is it really no worth? If no then how Google will index the pages?

I have heard that sitemap is not worth for forums. I have running website and getting 200 users each day. Then I added forum also so that people can discuss their problems.

A site map is great for search engines to crawl your web site. Don't listen to those post that say having a sitemap is no good. You need to have one in order for search engines to know when you have new content. Unless, you want to stay unknown then don't utilize a sitemap.

I do a sitemap for everything as it's standard practise. Why does Google Webmaster Tools make a big deal of it if it's bad for SEO? #think.

You can rely on search engine bots to crawl your site but who knows where they crawl? The algorithm is unknown to us so the sitemap will assist them. What is the negative effect of the sitemap - does it affect performance or SEO?

Yes, it's mandatory for each website to have sitemap.xml & robots.txt both files for regular Google indexing of all webpages & posts.
