SEO duplicate contents question: Are site listings considered duplicated contents?

My intention is to create local listings for all bowling spots all across the world. If I copy/paste short descriptive paragraphs from their websites and add them to my site, would this be considered duplicated contents. Actually, the entire site will be just a copy/paste collection of contents.

What could be the implication for my pagerank .

If you are providing the source of the copy/paste work that you are doing on your website, then your website will be considered as an informative website for other services. This will not create a duplicate issue for your website.
