Ratio Of Dofollow Vs Nofollow Links

All the search engines almost do not treat as no follow links but on some forums there are some topics which says that there must be a ratio in which Dofollow links and Nofollow links should be there so that the search engine will give your website maximum exposure and good SERPs. Do some body know what this ratio is and are Nofollow links really important for SEO these days.

I don't believe in such things, for me it is not about getting dofollow or nofollow links; it is the relevancy of sites linking to each other. Remember that it is not about the quantity but the quality.
