What do you mean by the term Poke in facebook ?
I mean like if you poke someone are you telling them that you know them in real and want to friendship ? or else ?
 
The Facebook 'poke' is just a fun way to get a friend's attention. And, it's really harmless, though you might not want to use the Facebook poke on a random stranger on Facebook (such as a friend on your list that you really don't know well). I have heard of situations where this starts an all out poke war. Though usually this is only done in good fun and no harm comes from it.
