Has anyone used Pinterest to promote affiliate links?
I have never used Pinterest for promoting Affiliate links but heard that it is good to get more traffic on your Affiliate URLs.

I haven't used, and probably will not use Pinterest for a while. Reason being is because Pinterest is built for an image-sharing site, not for promoting your websites other than image or photography websites. Of course, you can link to your blog on your profile page if someone becomes interested in your pictures, but they will most likely exit once they see that your site is just a generic blog. You could find random pictures around the internet and post them on Pinterest to do that, but I don't think it's worth the time and effort for someone to visit your site for one second and exit it again.

I am a member of Pinterest. Not exactly very active member but I still go there now and then. So can it be used to promote affiliate links? No idea really. What you need, I think, is to build up a following first. Then figure out a way to incorporate the affiliate links into your images which you post to Pinterest.

Yeah, I am in the smae boat. I was wondering if it can be used to promote affiliate links at all. How can one do this? I am still getting the hang of this site.

To naswer the question, no I have not promoted any affiliate links on Pinterest yet and have no idea whatsoever as to how to do it.

I haven't figured out how to add an affiliate link right into the image. If you are interested, you can always put the affiliate link into your comment. That should do the trick. Assuming that anyone is interested enough to click on it.

Yeah, that should do the trick, but I wonder who would buy anything without wanting to know more about it? I don't think anyone would.

I have never and thought to incorporate affiliate links in Pinterest before.
But since you already thought of it, I think its worth a try.

I do not have much success anyways on Pinterest but I have achieved quite a following on other Pinterest like sites, so I might as well experiment with my affiliate links there.
