Pinterest for Affiliate Marketing

Have anyone used Pinterest for Affiliate Marketing? I have used Pinterest only to share personal interest images or my site product images but never used for promoting Affiliate links?
I have heard that Pinterest is also used for Affiliate Marketing.

I have used Pinterest for my blogs, but I am not sure that it would go over well with affiliate marketing. For the most part people are on Pinterest to see cool pictures, pretty pictures, amazing pictures and so on. Now if you have a blog with pictures, you can link your blog to Pinterest and have your affiliate marketing done through your blog. Maybe get more traffic that way. But I think you will have a hard time getting followers if you are mostly promoting affiliate links. If you are using it more for other images and throw a link in once in a while, you may get some traffic to your link tho.

For a while Pinterest was a gold mine for affiliate marketing, until everyone found out. I think generating pictures that could go viral, posting them on your website and linking back in Pinterest, then optimizing the website for affiliate conversion would be the best tactic vs. putting a direct affiliate link on a Pinterest picture. If you have the right product you can definitely make money via Pinterest. Think about the target audience (mainly woman), when determining which products to promote using Pinterest.

I doubt Pinterest would work very well alone for affiliate marketing. I think it would be better to use Pinterest to promote other things on your site, then use your site for promoting products.

By the way, I always enjoy reading your advice, w3bm4st3r. You always have lots of great tips, and it's clear that you have plenty of experience!

Interest is the good source to promote your affiliate business. You can share your website product images. You can use to promote your blogs on Pinterest.

Yes, absolutely I use Pinterest for each of my 16 niche affiliate marketing sites. I have a board for each niche and I regularly post interesting photos related to my sites. i.e. Golf - I show images of great golf courses around the world. Remember, after you pin an image you must go back into edit and add a source link.

If I post an image not specifically from a page/post on one of my sites I merely link back to the home page of a particular site.

I get repins and followers all the time without trying. Some of my very old pins are still getting repinned.

Hi NicheGuy , do you use only pinterest to drive traffic? Or you have other techniques as well.

With me, I used only PPC and it works best for me and have a very good result. By the way, If any of you have any questions regarding PPC let me know and I will be happy to reply.

A vast majority of people have no idea about Pinterest marketing. They rely just on getting traffic from there but you can easily get sales from Pinterest as well. The Pinterest marketing consultant Melanie Duncan created a module called "Power Of Pinning" to get leads and sales from there, Read this article to learn more about this amazing Pinterest module.

Agree with this, Pinterest and Instagram are both quite handy in terms on
building traffic and links.

leo privacy is a cool app to hide anything u want...so that no one can see ur personal images videos contacts anything...must have app...As I can hide the images, videos and then etc etc in this app since instead of installing separate apps for the same...

Did you know previously that Pinterest had banned affiliate links from the image social network, citing issues about poor user experience. But now they've lift its ban on affiliate links in pins and and with over 100 million monthly active users and worldwide reach. It really is a great opportunity for Affiliate Marketing.
