Over Optmization ?

If you're spamming keywords, or spamming blogs, or spamming anything really, the google bots will come for you and mark you as a spammer! which will kill your rankings and make it extremely difficult to rank from there on out.

It's sometimes hard to tell when you're "over-optimized". but, as a rule, as long as your content reads fluently and you've done the basic steps of creating good backlinks, optimizing for just a few keywords and integrating them into img alts, title/pagename, and your first and last paragraphs you'll usually end up alright and wont be over doing anything. Oh, and Sitemaps. you want a concise Sitemap.

Just do things "naturally" and don't try and pull the wool over the crawlers eyes and you should be good! because they know... they always know... ;)

Over Optimization stands for using SEO techniques aggressively for the sake of increasing website ranking in search engines.

Keyword Stuffing: Normally SEO experts use 2% to 5% keyword density in on-page content of website, but if we use keywords in excess like using 20 to 30% keywords on-page then it make user experience bad and Google counts it as spamming.

Use of links in excess on site: If we put links like Home, About Us and others more than one time, it also counts as over optimization.

It will be Google's new update its mean that google will degrade those website have not good content and on-page but they having good position in SERP due to their SEO.

Overoptimizing has something to do with building so many back-links in a short period of time in an attempt to increase your ranking. Ranking is something that has to be done gradually, but if you'are trying to force your way out of the system the likelihood for your site to be penalized up will run up very high.
