Moving a laptop

Is it safe to move a laptop while it is still on? When not in hibernation it still has moving parts so can you carry it around while it is still up and running or do you have to turn it off each time?
 
I would say it is safe to move a laptop as long as it is closed. I wouldn't suggest moving a laptop while it is on because I have heard people drop it while they open the hinge. It also depends on where do you go, I would say it is better to turn off the laptop because it still loses battery power if you leave it on even if you close the part.
 
I would say it is sheltered to move a portable workstation the length of it is shut. I wouldn't recommend moving a portable PC while it is on the grounds that I have heard individuals drop it while they open the pivot. Love LEO Privacy... now I can relax. No one can access my stuff. What's also freakin awesome is the fact that if anyone attempts to accesss my apps by putting in a wrong password a few times, then it takes a pic of the intruder to allert me. Secure app.
