Little Confused about Managed and Unmanaged Hosting

How to distinguish managed and unmanaged Hosting? Managed hosting refers to host own server in DCs while unmanaged means sever rental from DC provider. Does it make sense?

managed hosting will take care of anything and everything from security patching, updates, and all other server needs. Unmanaged is basically on a VPS or private hosting account. You will have to do everything!

It’s simple as said by BCSL, it’s just more time taking and difficult stuff, so if anyone has large web site then it definitely carries the risk of getting various attacks, so in that case it’s tough to handle if it’s unmanaged, therefore we always prefer 100% managed hosting servers, I am using Dedicated server currently with DedicatedSolutions, it is really special with low price yet have 100% managed server and extra layer of security including 24/5 monitoring team, it is enough to make us feel extremely comfortable!

It’s already explained, so the only thing I like to add is that you should be using fully managed hosting servers, it’s horrible to go with unmanaged one, as the trouble is far too big and we will always have problems managing things on our own, so that’s why having 100% managed is best and that’s what I get with Serveria, it’s just too good especially with Dedicated Servers at cheap rates starting with just $39/mo.
