Link Juice and Outbound Links?

I do not see the connection between outbound links and link juice. For my site, I still use outbound links; but in small numbers only links to pages on the same topic and really quality. Using reasonable outbound links can sometimes help your website get good PR; However, do not overdo it, too many outbound links will cause the search engines to underestimate your site.
 
Outbound links are links that take links to another site. These are links that are going to direct you to another specific webpage or website altogether whereas,Link Juice is a slang term referring to how powerful a certain link (within a site or from one website to another) is or could be.
 
Link juice is a non-technical SEO term used to reference the SEO value of a hyperlink to a particular website or webpage.
Outbound links are the links pointing to other sites from your site

Outbound links are links from your site pointing to other site. A different way to say inbound links is backlinks and a different way to say outbound links is internal links.
