Is https website still a higher ranking signal for Google?

I am going to redirect my whole website to https domain. What would be the possible affects it make? What are the pros and cons of having a https website?

For google it, of course, doesn't matter. But for some users there is important to going on 'secured' site wigh https protocol because of trust

Google consider HTTPS as a secure protocol as compare to HTTP.
