Wanted to ask if there is any possibility that .exe can work and run in Linux as it does in windows as the software I want to install in Linux is not available in Linux version so trying to find a workaround to this problem of installation of this exe on Linux.

Wine can be installed on the Linux and then most of the .exe or windows software can be successfully installed on the Linux without any problem. There may be other methods for installation of .exe s but this was the only one that I know off.

As the above poster said, there is a program for most Linux operation systems called Wine, which allows you to run Windows-supported file-types on a Linux-based system, providing backwards compatibility for those types of files, although it can be buggy with certain files, and a little tricky to workout at first.
