How to make user friendly URL through File Zilla to my website?

My website has been developing by using HTML platform.But all the URL of my web pages are not user friendly to search engine.I don't know to change the URL in user friendly format through File Zila.How to do it?

Just need to create one .htaccess file. After that make htaccess code for url rewrite as per your requirement. Also please confirm that mod_rewrite is "ON " in you hosting service, otherwise it will not work.
