How to Get Good Quality Backlinks for a Site?

Hi All , I am new in SEO Industry working for a E Commerce portal in India. Generally I do SEO On page and Off page. I am willing to get some good quality backlinks for my site having 2 PR. You all please guide me how to get best quality backlinks for my site, I mean which off page link building tactics I must have to use and how in which way ??


Please guide me I am confused, my site ranking is getting down I am doing all things but ranking is getting down day by day. :-(
 
If you are relying on old techniques like social bookmarking, directory. Then stop doing today!. To get good quality links you need to research data on .gov and .edu websites. From where you can get high quality back links. Work on quality not for quantity. If you use these strategies you will definitely get good results soon.

Hi Kevinslangus, First of all tanks for your quick reply. As you suggest to stop doing old techniques (directories, social bookmarking) to get links. I did already, currently I do content based link creation like articles submissions, blog submissions, PR submissions.

In second you suggest do research on .gov & .edu sites, I don't think it's helpful for my sate cause my site is online E Commerce portal which offers food services in train. .edu and .gov sites are not my niche based not belongs to my Industry, getting links from these domains is not a SPAM link? Is it ?

Please guide me on the same.
 
To start with Avoid Directory Submission (not on the whole though) and Article directories they are both dead (or at least dying).

  • Content Marketing
  • Blogging
  • Guest Blogging
  • Forum Participation (not spamming)
  • Broken Link Building
  • Blog Commenting
  • and more

Try all the above in accordance to your preference, I am sorry for being overtly on Content related suggestions, I only follow such tactics..!

I never heared about this ?? Please guide me on same in details.
 
It is true that doing book marking, forum posting, blog commenting, image or video shearing are provide back-links but all these are not enough for getting rank high. If you want to get rank high for long time with spending the same time in above tasks than you should go for Article Submission, Blogging, Web 3.0, Document Shearing. These Off page SEO strategies can give your site rank well for long time.

Finding broken links of top website/blog that are relevant to your content. Then give suggestion to webmaster for placing your content page as best resource over the broken link.

Hi Uditsh, It means I have to find out my website back links if I placed any broken links that I have to repair these. Is It ?

I completely agree with you. But to me the most important part of link building is to avoid spamming, and creation of useful contents that could be useful to others. I mean it will be almost selfish to spam for good links, nothing comes without hard work..LoL...!
 
I agree with what Andrew Roosevelt said, but adding to that I want to add more important aspects of No follow Links.

Most SEOs are addicted to traditional link building strategies, i.e simply spamming for Dofollow links. But in reality since the decline of Google PR, the importance of Dofollow links are already gone, and the importance to maintain a natural flow of dofollow and nofollow is more important now than ever before.

I prefer to add more reputation to business by increasing PR (Public Relation & Press Release not Page Rank) and Social Media were you can build audience, blogging too could win amazing links, the strategy for 2015 is to win links, not build it.

Hi KUmar, I am totally agree with your words. I am doing the same things as publishing Articles, Blogs, Guest blogs, Press releases and other type of content publicatiation. What can I say I am getting back links based of contant submissions only. But still I am not getting good ranking, at the other hand I am loosing my ranking. What to do, I am totally blank now.. I am not seeing that I am dooing any wrong thing to obtain a backlink. What to do now, please guide ??:pride:
 
Get back links on your website, work daily on SEO tools like Book marking, Directory submission, create blog, Submit links, forum posting site, sharing images & video you get good quality backlinks.
 
Submit your website web directories.
Do comment posting in different blogs
Register in different forums related to your website
Submit your website deep link web directories
You can also buy backlinks from sites like SEOclerks
