How to Get Best Royalty Free Images?

There are multiple ways for you to get royalty free images. One way you can do it is through Google Images. Go to settings once you search for the specific image, go to advanced settings, usage rights, and click free to use. I believe most of them, if not all, are free to use. Another technique you can use is to search on Google for royalty free images. There are hundreds of websites that pop up, and allow you to use their pictures.

If you're willing to spend $1 for an image, dollarphotoclub.com is the best place to get royalty free high quality images. It's a low-cost venture by the Fotolia group (I'm not an affiliate of this, anyhow)

Here are some other ways:

BigStockPhoto has a free 7 day trial, where you can download up to 5 free images of any size or file format. They will ding your card for like $1 in the beginning just to make sure it is legit, but that will be refunded. You just need to be super careful during the trial offer that you don't bump any buttons to "upgrade" your account, because it will instantly cancel your trial and bill your card, and you are only allowed one trial offer per credit card and email address. Also, when you go to download an image, be sure to choose the correct file size and format because there is no turning back. By default it goes to a medium size. They will try to bill you on like the 6th day, so be sure to cancel it before then.

DepositPhotos gives away free credits for new accounts. Just go to their site through one of their affiliates URLs such as http://depositfiles.com/stockphotosecrets. You can enter in any bogus information, then it will give you 5 free credits. These are enough to get one decent sized medium images or a few smaller images. Just clear your cookies out and start over again to get another image from them, and keep repeating this.

Getty Images is now allowing blog owners to use their work as long as it is properly attributed. The details are up on their site.
