How To Engage Visitors To Website

Although i am getting a lot of visitors on my website through Google and other search engines but they just bounce. I want the visitors to this website to engage with the website , use it and they come again. Please share tips and tricks with me how is it possible to engage the visitors of my website so that they keep on visiting and enjoy the stay.
 
You need to figure out what got them there in the first place and provide more of that content. If you are running a blog, then you should have a related articles section, so they might see something else they want to read and stay on the blog. Also if the content is good they will come back and check in to read more. It is really hard to say with out knowing what kind of site you are running. But the best thing to do is study what got them there in the first place and build off of that.
 
Make sure the landing pages contain exactly what they are looking for by the search phrase they use. Offer something free to collect email addresses, this is a MUST for all web sites, then set up an autorepsonder. I really recommended in-house software for this, no need to use online services.
 
Visitors to Site

First, you should evaluate & analyze the reasons for bouncing the traffic then optimize the wek points or reasons.
Some possile reasons may be:
Content is of low quality or less informative.
Site Architecture
Page load time
Navigation between two pages of the site.

So what is your site niche? What content do you offer?
Do you think what you offer is enough for people to keep them coming or to make them engage?
How about put yourself on their shoes, and see for yourself what do you think is the reason that makes them leave your site.
