To determine if you have hit by Negative SEO:
your website ranking is getting dropped on SERP
less website traffic flow
less sales and revenues

check in Google Analytics: Bounce rate, Session duration, All traffic channels and all traffic referrals, Search console and landing pages, Site speed
Also check in Google web master tool: Messages, Search analytics, Links to your site, Crawl errors, Internal links
