Create a Google Plus Business Account
Step 1
Register at Google.com for a Google user account if you do not have one. When you complete the registration form, Google assigns you a user account that you use for all Google services as well as a Gmail account.
Step 2
Go to the Google main page and click “+You” in the top left corner of the screen. Click ”Sign in” on the Google+ home screen.
Step 3
Type the account name and password for your Google account and click the “Sign in” button below the account information box.
Create Your Google Plus Profile Page
Step 1
Create a Google+ profile for your business. Click "More" in the sidebar in the left column and choose the "Pages" icon on the options bar that appears.
Step 2
Select "Create New Page" in the Manage your pages section and then click "Local Business or Place" under Category.
Step 3
Type your business phone number in the primary phone number box. Do not use a cell phone number or your home number.
Step 4
Click the "Locate" button to complete your Google Plus Page setup if Google displays your business name and location on
Google Maps.
Step 5
Click the "Add Your Business Location" hyperlink if Google displays the No Matches Found message.
Step 6
Type the name of your business, phone number and address and then click "Preview on Map" when finished.
Step 7
Complete your profile by clicking "Create." You must agree to Google’s terms of use by ticking the check box.
Step 8
Customize your page's public profile with a photo or logo or click “Finish” to skip this section.
Create Your Ad
Step 1
Register your business at Google Adwords Express (see link in Resources) for your local business ad campaign when you want a simple, maintenance-free setup. You must enter basic information such as the business name, address and phone number along with the appropriate category.
Step 2
Check "Location" to display your address on ads. Press "Continue" to advance to the next page.
Step 3
Create your ad by typing in your headline and text. Then choose how Google redirects your ad clicks. Send customers to your local Google Plus business page by ticking the radio button beside the Google Plus Local Page for your business.
Step 4
Fill the radio button beside one of the choices provided under the Maximum monthly budget section. Choose to set your own budget if your maximum is between $50 and $120. Enter $50 or more in the box.
Step 5
Set up your billing method. Provide a credit or debit card for payment.
