Instead of aiming to have 50 backlinks daily, why don't you look for relevant niche site and try to link to it.
50 irrelevant backlinks is nothing compared to one quality relevant backlink.

Thanks! I assume social bookmarking isnt scalable, but something i definetley need to do. My niche does appear to have many authoritative backlinks that are currently within reach, so am trying alternatives.
