The easiest way to optimize a website is to add keywords so that search engines quickly find out what your website is about.You add keywords to HTML pages by including the Meta Keywords tag inside the Head section of the code and also insert a list of keywords relevant to your business in the Meta tag.

1. Open a text editing program, like notepad wordpad etc.
2. Log in to the Web hosting account provided to you by your hosting provider.
3. In the text editor, open the Web page you want to add the meta tags to.
4. In the portion of the file, insert the keyword. For example:<meta name="keywords" content="keywords">
5. Save the file.
6. Upload the Web page to the server.
