To promote your business URLs in Google+, you have to be regular in all activities on Google+, like Following, sharing, commenting etc. You can join your business niche communities and post URLs there. You can create collections to group your posts by topics. That can increase number of followers and views of your posts.
 
You can promote your URL on Google+ by joining communities related to your trades. Lets take an example if you have already posted your article on website and promote it on Social media, then G+ would be the better platform to promote it. You can join related groups as per your requirements and post your article there. So, that many of the users of G+ can easily access your profile update & you can also do one more thing which is like you can post your news on your profile so that it will be visible to everyone who has connected with you.
