Hard disk memory decreasing

My laptop hard disk memory is decreasing day by day, I dont have much files in it but still it shows too less memory what is the reason? is there any virus?

You need to check if you are having bad sectors in your hard drive. Bad sectors usually eat up space leaving you with less amount of hard disk space. You need to scan and check your disk drives.

Sometime due to heavy file store in hard disk this message come or may be due to virus. You should contact the experienced person or scan your Laptop.

Remove unnecessary program that you installed and scan your hard drive, if after this you still face this problem go to care center.

I had the same issue a year ago. In my case, it was due to bad sectors, so I got a new WD HDD

Go into the properties of the C drive, and then click on tools. Here you should be able to clean up unnecessary files and delete all of the old system restore points. They take up a lot of space.

because of virus some bad sectors may be occurs in your hard disk you must use any software to check bad sector in your harddisk

You can clean cache and cookies. also clean your recycle bin and install a credible anti virus.
