I am really happy to hear this new news About Google Glass as it will be a computer for you in your eyeglasses. Isnt it amazing that we may not need heavy computers to carry now and can see every thing in pair of glasses we are wearing. Google is really innovative and specifically this new adventure is amazing news. I have already became a big fan of this technology and am sure that i will be getting theses glasses as soon as they are released.
 
Yeah that's a big innovation right there. I just hope that ads don't overrun this market, but they probably will..
Can't wait for the GPS integrated motorcicle helmets ^^
 
I'm curious if people in general will actually be willing to wear these once the novelty wears off. I, personally, would not want to be wearing something like that on my head all day. Not to mention, by design they are another distraction. Can you imagine talking to someone and you notice they aren't paying attention to anything you said but are instead looking at stuff in their display? Not to mention, it's one more device to have to keep charged all day long.
 
I will definitely purchase Google Glasses and do any body know when and where the Google glasses are available or if they are available to purchase online.
 
I'm not sure. I guess the concept could take off into some kind of hybrid of a phone. Imagine getting all your map directions and social updates in front of your eyes? Then again, could be a whole new class of accidents waiting to happen as people walk out into a road, getting hit by cars.

I am so happy! I know a guy who bought them(I think it was for $1000) and now is developing some apps for it! I don't know him personaly, only on FB, but he said, that they are GREAT! Maan, can't wait to buy them <3
 
It will be very interesting to see the development of this technology. It will be especially interesting to see how long it takes for this type of technology to appear on the mainstream market and how fashion will play a role at making these devices "stylish".
 
When I first saw Google Glass through my Flipboard, I can say that I was really amazed with it. I know that wearable computers are not really an impossible dream considering the fast growth of technology in the 21st century, but I didn't expect them to come out this soon. This really proves that science will continue to improve people's lives and that the things that we don't expect to see a few years ago may be coming out on grocery stores within the next five years.

However, I'm still not sure whether I'll be able to afford glass since its really expensive for me. I would want to experience how it feels wearing glass though but that may be impossible for me. :D
 
Google Glass looks pretty cool, in my opinion. If the price is right, not something like $5000 or something, then I might consider purchasing on of those glasses. We're getting more innovative by the day.
 
I think the worst thing that can happen is for the price of Google Glass to drop down to everyday consumables price like, say, 100usd. Then everyone who wants to will be wearing a Google Glass. The net result will be a total loss of privacy. Remember that Google Glass streams all its data to the cloud. If you are, say, at a party of 50 people and, say, 10 of you are wearing Google Glass, the entire proceedings of the party would be recorded in full, good, bad and ugly. Absolutely nothing will be safe or private anymore.
 
I think Google Glass is a step into the future. I am very excited for the release and I think it is incredibly innovative. As you said, the ability to wear a computer is truly revolutionary. The google glass will surly create a new market and is a step into the future.
 
Great innovation for some, a failure for others, that's how I'd categorize them. A great innovation for people that want to stay connected even when they are walking, they don't have to hold their phone or tablet out and navigate through it and don't pay attention to the road, with the glasses you can have a side view of the road and a main view of the navigation and you can change them between each other whenever you want. The failure on the other hand was mentioned before, the easy distraction factor.
