Purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on May 7, 2020. Several weeks ago, the freezer wasn't freezing ice cream or ice cubes and the fridge part was way too cold on the lowest setting (froze veggies). I took the back off and cleaned the coils hoping that would help (someone told me that may be the cause) but nothing changed. Unplugged it for hours and that also didn't help. Called Frigidaire and they gave me a repair service to call. I called and there is a 2 week wait time. There is a $170 trip charge, plus labor and any parts is extra and of course the cost is unknown at this time. So in the meantime, I had to throw out all the freezer foods and some fridge food. I will have to order/purchase another fridge and it WON'T be a Frigidaire!
 
Hello. You've probably heard that one of the most common problems with Frigidaire refrigerators is temperature control. When I bought myself a Frigidaire refrigerator I had this problem. I immediately found the frigidaire customer service page and contacted their specialist. It turns out that once installed, the refrigerator takes 24 hours to adjust the cooling. During this regulatory period, you may need to store food elsewhere to avoid spoilage.
