You don't have to worry whether a link is dofollow or no follow, in pure SEO terms it matters little. Dofollow links were highly sort after back then for its value in improving PR not SERP, back then PR was a major factor in SEO. But today PR plays such a minor (almost no role at all) and such you can gladly create no follow links, as long as its from a Reputed website..!
