Facebook Free Calls To US and Canada

Facebook have recently launched its service which will offer free calling to the US and Canada. Please tell if any one of you yet tried it as its a really exciting news that i will now be able to save on my phone bill by using Facebook to call regular and landlines in USA. Please tell what you think of it and if you have used it please tell how was the voice quality of Facebook Call and does this free call quality will be the same as regular landlines or Mobile.
 
After hearing from you on this form here i have confirmed this and have come to know that the free Calls from facebook for right now is only offered on iPhone and apple devices. Please make me correct here if i am wrong but that is what i have found out.
 
I have heard about Group chat and video calling on Facebook but never done video calling through Facebook. It is really a great news that now users can make free calls with Facebook.
Please share more details about it and its process.
 
I've tried their video chatting with others a few times and every time I have used it, it is very laggy and slow. It often froze up the computer and I had to shut everything down. I tried the calling once to test it out, and it was the same as a regular phone call. I'm very glad that Facebook has chosen to make this available to its users, because it's very helpful and money-saving.
 
Facebook has offered it now while google offered it around a year ago . You see the option of fee calling to US and Canada when you are logined into you gmail account. You can also call other countries but for that you need to first put balance in to your account. Facebook will keep on offering free calls for US and Canada while offering paid calls to other countries. There is a big telephony market and all of bigger giants are crazy to get their share.
 
Free calls is handy if you actually know someone in the US, luckily I do, but then I have always used Skype to Skype.

Facebook video is only the same as Skypes, if one person has a bad internet speed it is going to be crap. It is supposed to auto-adjust to fit the conditions but it always fails to do this. it would be nice if they actually gave options to do it yourself, such as shrink it down to just 200x200 or so. You can still see who you are talking with, you don't need it so that you can view every pimple they have!!
