Regarding regional domain names, what is the best strategy regarding SEO point of view :

Example :
is www.mydomain.com/uk better to host the uk content than uk.mydomain.com (we don't own the .co.uk domain name)?

It will be better if you go for country code domain name for SEO purpose so that you can implement Local SEO.
