Hit and run strategy is used by companies to generate profits during favorable market conditions and leave the market when the growth retards. In my point of view the method can be used by companies who want temporary benefits in business and market by making short term profits. However for long term profitability, brand image and consumer loyalty, one must avoid such practices.
